Hunting and Fishing Club Newsletter - July 2007

We have the tenative dates for water fowl!  Keep in mind that these dates are not finalized and may change.  We will post any changes in the Calendar of Events as they occur. The tenative dates are as follows:
DoveSeptember 1st
Teal, EarlySeptember 6th - 14th (tenative)
Goose, EarlySeptember 29th - October 7th
Split Duck, 1stOctober 6th - 22nd
Split Duck, 2ndNovember 10th - January 27
Goose, Regular November 10th - January 27

Just a reminder: Trap Shooting is almost over. We have one (1) sponsored Trap Shoot remaining and the date for it is August 12th.  The final day for non-sponsored trap shoot is August 15th.  Ending on this date will give us a chance to prepare for dove season on September 1st.

Here are a few rules for dove and duck season:

1) Dove Hunting: Members may come and go as they please. Guests must pay a $25 fee, per hunt, before hunting

2) All Duck Seasons: (includes Early Teal) Hunters must call before six (06:00) pm for a reservation for the following day.

3) Hunting is allowed until noon (12:00 pm) on dove and duck season

4) Hunting is allowed all day when goose season starts November 10th

If you would like to add a photo to one of the areas (Trap Shoot, Youth Day, Summer Recreation) or to the Photo Album please contact us to find out how. You may also print off the release form, sign it, and send a copy to us with the photo.  Please Note: a release must be signed for all individuals in a photo and the photo will become the property of Highland Acres Hunting and Fishing Club.  If you would like the photo returned to you after scanning please include a self addressed stamped envelope with the photo and release.
