Hunting and Fishing Club Newsletter - September 2008

Saturday October 4th opens the 1st duck split season and the Northern Front Range goose.

Call for blind reservations between 6 PM – 6:30 PM if possible but not after 8 PM. 

The blinds are a little different this year because of the full lake. 

• Blinds 1-2 & 3 are basically the same and all have decoys furnished.  There is room to put some shells and big feet decoys on the bank in front of them but it will be muddy.  You can not use the lower road on the lake bottom so you must drive behind the blinds and unload then park in the grass east of the cottonwood tree. 
• We have a blind 3 1/2 north of the pasture parking lot.  It has some duck decoys at it.  #4 blind is at the east end of the big dirt pile and has some duck decoys.  #5-6-7 are on the road on the south end of the lake and it is fairly open in front of them.  Do not block the road when unloading at these blinds and do not shoot south of these blinds because of the new gray house. 
• Blind 7 1/2 is at the south end of the spillway.  It has decoys furnished.  Trina and I will hunt this blind most of the time so we can direct traffic when needed.  Anyone is welcome to hunt 7 1/2 just do not shoot directly at #7 or #8. 
• Blinds 8-9-10 are in the same place and have duck decoys there.

Guest fees are $25.00 per person and must be paid before hunting. 

Starting October 4th blind tops must be used and you must stay down and out of sight until shooting. 

All cars must be parked in one of the parking areas starting October 4th.

We will be there every morning to help, especially until you get use to the new blinds. 

We have 2 openings for 7 day hunting $675.00 due to people who can not complete their deposits and 4 openings for week day only at $475.00.  If you know of anyone please have them call us.
