We do offer trap shooting during the summer with a sponsored Trap Shoot the second Sunday of every month. The dates for the sponsored Trap Shoots may be found in our calendar.
Trap shooting runs until August 15th. At that time trap shooting will end so that we may prepare for dove season on September 1st.
We have two (2) throwers available for trap shoot. They are located on the dam above the lodge. There is also a gun rack and table available for use. Trina and I are available for questions on trap shoot at no cost for members.
Members may trap Shoot anytime until August 15th and guests may trap shoot free when accompanied by a member.
Members must supply their own guns, shells, and clays. These items are not provided by the hunting club
For safety reasons we require all persons pulling the throwers to hollar "READY" when they are ready to throw the clays. The shooters must then hollar "PULL" when they are ready for the clays to be thrown.
We do allow sighting in big game rifles but only on a permission basis. Please call 970-221-1362 for permission and instructions
When leaving the hunting club please be sure to shut and lock the gate. Thank you.
